Who can participate in Science Samagra Mahotsav 2K26?

Students of Classes 6 to 9 studying in Government and Private schools across Andhra Pradesh are eligible to participate. The program ensures inclusive and state-wide participation.

How many students can form a team?

Students must participate in teams of 3 members. Team-based participation encourages collaboration, idea sharing, and collective problem-solving.

Is a teacher mentor mandatory?

Yes. Each team must have a Teacher Mentor who will guide students throughout the project—from idea conceptualization to model development and presentation.

What are the project themes?

Students can choose from multiple themes such as:

Do students need prior experience to participate?

No prior experience is required. The program focuses on experiential learning, curiosity, creativity, and the application of basic scientific concepts using simple materials.

What materials are allowed for the projects?

Students are encouraged to use locally available, low-cost, and eco-friendly materials. Expensive equipment is discouraged, and safety guidelines must be followed.

How are projects evaluated?

Projects are evaluated in three phases: School Level, District Level, and State Level. Evaluation criteria include Innovation, Scientific Concept, Practical Use, Presentation, and Sustainability.

When will the school-level event be conducted?

The school-level Science Exhibition & Demonstration Day will be conducted on 23th February, as part of National Science Day celebrations.

Is there any registration fee?

No registration fee is charged. The program is designed to ensure 100% participation with minimal financial burden on students and schools.

What recognition do participants receive?

All participating students receive auto-generated digital participation certificates. State-level winners will receive Merit Certificates and attractive prize money during the Grand Finale at AP Science City.
